MONDAY, JUNE 10th 7:00pm
Black, Gay and Parenting on the Margins:
A Special Panel on Intersectionality
What’s it like to carry more than one marginalized identity in a racist, homophobic culture? We will hear the stories of a gay black man, and an interracial couple raising kids, about their experience. What are the unique issues they struggle with? What has been difficult? What has helped? What do they celebrate? What would they like the world to know? How might we be better allies? There will be time for sharing and support. All are welcome!
OUR MONTHLY MEETINGS ARE AT THE HEART OF WHAT WE DO.
We meet each month on the Second Monday at 7 pm.
